To develop a sustainable source of dedicated, highly-qualified nurse practitioners ready to meet the unique challenges of practice in Federally Qualified Health Centers that are motivated by clinical excellence and the desire for continuous improvement in healthcare access and delivery
NoGAPP Mission
To create a comprehensive, immersive nurse practitioner residency program in the Federally Qualified Health Center setting that facilitates clinical expertise, compassionate practice and professional confidence in partnership with our communities to improve the health outcomes for individuals and families.
NoGAPP provides a smooth transition for new nurse practitioners, making sure they are prepared for a rewarding career serving at-risk patients.
Residents are making a difference in the health of underserved communities. Through their work, residents provide valuable care through a FQHC.
NoGAPP is backed by Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, MedLink Georgia, Community Health Care Systems, Inc., and East Georgia Healthcare Center, giving residents a strong background to begin their careers.
